WE
BEGIN from GRAVE CREEK with the boats in the water by 9:00 a.m.
It's your trip. Your boatman will recommend fishing spots that have
proven in the past but if you see a hole that looks good to you
just sing out -- quietly. (Don't disturb the fish!) Lunches vary,
being built around fresh caught steelhead cooked over an open fire.
Dinners and breakfasts are for hungry outdoor types in rustic lodges
along the WILD RIVER. The lodges are chosen for their tradition
of hearty food and great hospitality.
Trips are planned for parties of twelve people. Smaller groups
are often combined. If you are alone or have only a small party
write for details. Early reservations advisable. See notes under
"Final Arrangements".
EACH PARTY will be contacted a few days before the trip to check
on last minute questions. Rendezvous at Grants Pass for 7:00 to
8:00 a.m. convoy to ALMEDA BAR or GRAVE CREEK, depending on 3 -
4 day trip.
If you lack other arrangements, we have dependable drivers (for
hire) who can pick up your car at the river and deliver it to yo
at the take-out point.
Itinerary may vary depending on length of you trip. Specific overnight
accommodations are subject to change. Trips proceed rain or shine
unless conditions are hazardous.
